Working as an educational consultant, Lucy Stonehill realised that students considering their post-secondary opportunities faced a number of challenges. College and careers guidance, she felt, needed to both adapt to a fast changing higher education and jobs landscape and also grant students access to specific tools to allow them to make smarter, more informed decisions about their futures. 

She didn't like the thought of young people being held back - whether it was by poorly disseminated information, or by national borders. And so the idea for BridgeU was born.

Five years later, we're helping students at secondary schools in over 100 countries discover, learn about and apply to the universities and careers that are right for them.
